Tessa Wheeler is a Business Development Associate for the Mid-Atlantic Region of the United States with a focus on facilitating relationships with landowners, utility companies, and local governments to develop utility-scale solar facilities.
Before working at Sunpin Solar, Ms. Wheeler was an O&M Specialist for Joule Energy where she managed the O&M operations for the Southeastern United States for utility-scale solar portfolios. Prior to that, she worked as an Operations Assistant managing the permitting and design of residential solar sites in Louisiana, as well as managing development for an in-pipe hydro company with a focus on initiating sales in the Southeastern U.S.
Ms. Wheeler earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Virginia, and a Master of Science degree in Natural Resources from the University of New Hampshire with a focus on Agroecology. She is a member of The Clean Energy Council’s Women in Renewables initiative.
